Slow Loris is Jessica Lynch. Schools- Ringling School of Art and design, (RSAD) Sarasota Florida, 1993- 1995. California College of arts and crafts, (CCAC) Oakland Ca., 1995-1997. BFA, Printmaking. Currently, Guemes Island resident and Guardian to Basil Rathbone (dog) Zora the ewok (smaller dog) and Walter the (big fat) pig. Slow Loris shirts began in 1997 in Oakland, California. I was still currently attending the California College of Arts and Crafts and in efforts to make some extra cash, I thought up the idea to screen print my drawings onto t-shirts. The first shirts I ever made were printed in the basement storage room of the old Cannery building within which i was living at the time. As time went on, my quickly thought up idea turned into a real opportunity to make shirts for a living. The shirts were selling quite well, so when i moved up to Washington State in 1999 to the small island of Guemes, I bought my own screen printing press and continued on with the business.
