Sweetie was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, after its founder, Tracy Sanders, received a sewing machine as a gift. Through old-fashioned hard work, Tracy quickly aced the basics to reinvent handbags that are inspired by the classics, but suitable for a perfect party outfit. And with so many options, every Sweetie Bag is a customized reflection of your style. Tracy quickly partnered with Co-Founder and Director, Chris Bason, who had been sewing for years making home decor. Because Chris grew up with a mother who loved to sew, she quickly embraced it and realized she too had a love for sewing and creating new things. The best part is that her love for designing handbags and totes has allowed her to stay at home with her daughter and son so THANK YOU for looking and supporting a stay at home mom.
