Once upon a time in 1967, a retired grocer named Hip Siegel had a simply brilliant idea. Hed buy mens suits at a discount from department stores, and sell them for less than the department store prices. He loaded up the family wagon with as many suits as he could carry, and hit the road. When he sold all the suits in the wagon, hed fill it up again with more suits. Soon, he was buying too many suits to fit in the wagon, so he opened his own store dedicated to offering Americas greatest menswear values. He called the store S&K. Today the spirit of Mr. Siegels original ingenuity lives on at more than 240 S&K stores - and now, on the Internet.
