Titanias Bower has been a work in progress for over 8 years. A dream slowly coming out of the mists of an otherworld to become a reality. This dream has haunted, as well as eluded, the designer and maker of the clothing and finery you find here until now. After studying Costume/Clothing Design, Construction, Merchandising, and Fashion Illustration, Avril decided Costuming was her true passion. She went on to work behind the scenes in Wardrobe for several plays ranging from local community work and the college she studied at, as well as putting together a wardrobe from stock costumes for a middle school production of A Midsummer Nights Dream. She was also asked to design costumes for an independent student film called The Invisible recently this summer of 2005. Here at Titanias Bower, you will find clothing that can be worn at the office or the occasional Couture Costume for a Masquerade Ball. Her clothing and costumes are gifts from the Fae folk as far as she is concerned. She is also quite aware that Fairies are not all sweetness and light. That is why you will find the occasional darker assortment to her designs. Avril is very much a perfectionist. She takes great pride and satisfaction in making clothing and costumes that are not only beautiful to look at, but wear well, and are well constructed. She does so to make sure you, the customer, are satisfied. However, there is one thing you all must know...Avril is Solo in her sewing, shipping duties, and replying to inquiries. So, please, though she is guided by the Fae, that is the most we will do for her. We feel giving her inspiration is enough....
