Weeping Willow Designs, based in Williamsville, New York, a hop, skip and jump away from Buffalo! My fascination with Faeries began back when I was about 12 years old, and has grown into a full blown obsession over the years. Ive worn my own pieces to various renaissance fairs, photo shoots, and costume balls, including the very popular and well known Hawthorne Halloween Ball in Salem, MA. I return to Salem every year for Halloween, usually decked out in some type of faerie or fantasy costume, and have won several contests in the past years. I began to expand my art into directions other than wing making back about a year ago when I started to create faerie and mermaid statues and dolls, and later began to make costume horns, and floral head wreaths. And Ive been having fun ever since! After I began to sell selected pieces on Ebay in 1999, I became swamped with requests, questions, and custom orders, so I figured the next step was to open myself up to outside more public sales. And, that is how this site came to be. I never realized how many other faerie fanatics there were on the internet, and am pleased to have such a wonderful response to my work! When Im not busy being covered in glitter, paint, and glue, I am on a Classical French Fencer with a local fencing school and salle, and, I belly dance with a fantastic local studio.
