When our children were born there were occasions when we wanted to protect their feet and we were surprised at the lack of available ,quality, footwear at affordable prices. Experts recommend that babies wear no shoes for the first year to help the foots strength develop. This was not always practical but we could find no alternative other than the usual baby socks and booties, which seemed to spend more time in the bottom of the pram than actually on the foot. All of our soft leather shoes allow the foot to develop as it should whilst offering a higher degree of protection than socks and booties.
