One day, having grown weary of waiting for his frozen limbs to thaw, he happened upon a pair of silk long johns. Willing to give them a try, he wore them home that very night. Much to his astonishment, they kept him wonderfully warm and pleasantly dry. The next day, he wore them under his work clothes, and again, found himself incredibly comfortable at the office, not to mention equally warmed walking home. The concept of marketing silk garments to the public was born of this experience. From that day forward, WinterSilks was in the business of bringing luxurious warmth to the world. The original concept then expanded from silk long johns to include lingerie, mens and womens travel wear, outerwear and accessories.
