Scrubs of Key West is located in an adorable shop in the Historic District of downtown Key West. The business, created by a registered nurse and native of Key West, began in 1994 in a one-bedroom house with two sewing machines and a dining room table that doubled as a cutting board. The bright tropical colors and prints quickly spread throughout the island medical offices and hospitals. The web site began in 1996, followed by the opening of the first storefront in 1998. Scrubs of Key West now occupies a larger shop, combining the retail showroom and sewing workroom. We have in house seamstresses available for custom sewing services. Scrubs of Key West is small enough to offer specialized attention, yet, sophisticated enough to handle any request you may have. In March of 2003 the business was sold. The new owners, also medical professionals, continue to offer the quality craftsmanship our customers have come to appreciate. In addition to scrub tops, we now offer coordinating jackets, pants, surgical caps and scrunchies. We have added new and exciting prints along with solid color fabrics to create a variety of mix and match combinations. Today, Scrubs of Key West is a favorite stop for both tourists and locals. Across the country, people from the health, hospitality and food / beverage industries have purchased our scrubs for their professional wardrobe. Many customers wear our scrubs just for fun!
